2 A-10 Flight Hour Records Set

On 30 March 2007, 2 records were set by pilots of the 104th FW. Please see official 104th FW Press Release here.

Congratulations to Colonel Jon Mott for reaching approximately 4,570 hours in the A-10, as well as being part of a 4-ship combined flight hours record of approximately 15,550 hours.

Congratulations to Colonel Marcel Kerdavid, 104th FW Commander, Lt. Colonel Ed Sommers and Lt. Colonel Ken Stiles for also being part of a 4-ship combined flight hours record of approximately 15,550 hours.

And congratulations to all members of the 104th FW for attaining these 2 records.

Thank you to the fine folks in the Barnes control tower and airport management for their hospitality and assistance in getting these photos.

Departures, including a KC-135E Stratotanker from the 108th Air Refueling Wing, New Jersey ANG.

The KC-135E returned first, and then the 4 A-10s flew over in formation, and each then performed 2 low approaches before landing.
